We decamped to Glasgow for a change of scene (and weather) for two weeks of the summer holiday. The grass was actually green, we needed our jumpers and there was even (a small amount of) rain…

One of the aims was to try out a mini cycle tour with J doing the whole thing under her own steam (as she’s now on a bike that’s too big to tow). We rode all the way along the Forth and Clyde canal over four days – a total of 96 km. Proof of concept successful! Plus a few other days out.
