Rümlang – Zürich – Amsterdam – IJmuiden – North Shields

More or less the reverse of the outward journey, except that we collected rather more souvenirs and knew what we needed to supplement our train breakfast with! Back home now after a really successful trip – summary thoughts to follow.

Heading into the city after a lazy morning and lunch – but we stopped after five minutes to watch aeroplanes for a while…

Back in the flat lands – actually some of our least pleasant cycling of the trip on the exposed dykes, but it was a shortish day
